Kano, Nigeria — August 16, 2024EHA Clinics and FutureMap Foundation are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a REACH (Reaching Everyone with Accessible Community Healthcare) clinic in Hadejia, Jigawa State. This collaboration underscores a shared commitment to improving healthcare access for underserved communities in Nigeria. The MoU was signed in Abuja, Nigeria, on August 15, 2024.


The clinic in Hadejia, which EHA REACH Clinics will manage, will offer comprehensive healthcare services, including primary healthcare, maternal and child health, and emergency medical services, tailored to meet the needs of the local population. By leveraging cutting-edge technology and community-focused approaches, the clinic is designed to overcome the healthcare access barriers faced by rural communities, ensuring that quality medical care is available even in the most remote areas.

During the signing ceremony, Mr. Ahmad Shuaibu, FutureMap Foundation Trustee, highlighted the collaboration's significance: "This partnership with EHA Clinics aligns with our mission to enhance healthcare delivery in underserved regions. The REACH clinic in Hadejia stands as a testament to our commitment to making quality healthcare accessible to all, regardless of location."

EHA Clinics’ Chief Operating Officer, Paul M. Hogan, also expressed optimism about the partnership's impact: "Our collaboration with FutureMap Foundation enables us to deploy innovative solutions that address the unique healthcare challenges faced by rural communities. Beyond the clinic's establishment, this partnership also supports the expansion of REACH’s learning and development program to healthcare workers in Hadejia LGA, Jigawa State. FutureMap Foundation will provide vital electronic infrastructure, including computers, phones, and tablets, to facilitate the training and upskilling of healthcare professionals. This initiative will enhance the capacity of local healthcare workers, ensuring the sustainable delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

The collaboration aligns with EHA Clinics' broader mission of providing quality and affordable healthcare to underserved communities. By expanding the REACH program into Jigawa State, EHA Clinics continues to advance its goal of transforming healthcare delivery in Nigeria.
