Kano, Nigeria — August 5, 2024 —  On August 2, 2024, EHA Clinics took a significant step towards improving primary healthcare delivery by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Edo State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (EDSPHCDA). The signing ceremony was held at the Office of the Executive Secretary, EDSPHCDA, Dr. Omosigho Izedonmwen, in Ezoti, Benin City.

During the event, Dr. Omosigho Izedonmwen thanked the EHA Clinics team for agreeing to partner with Edo State. He highlighted the significant investments made by the Executive Governor of Edo State, His Excellency Mr. Godwin Obaseki, in infrastructure, water, solar, internet connectivity, furniture, essential drugs, equipment, telemedicine consultations, technology, and insurance to ensure the people of Edo receive quality care.

Dr. Izedonmwen welcomed the proposed partnership, noting that he is confident it would complement the Governor’s efforts and acknowledge the remarkable work EHA Clinics is doing across Nigeria.

In response, Dr. Ifunanya Ilodibe, Chief Medical Officer of EHA Clinics, expressed her gratitude to Dr. Izedonmwen for the warm welcome extended to her and her team. She viewed the partnership as an opportunity to enhance the already impressive primary healthcare initiatives in Edo State. She expressed her enthusiasm for collaborating with the Agency to improve the health outcomes of the Edo people.
